Inspiration to make a difference !

Last two days were one of those wonderful days I would like to remember forever.  It gave me something to think about ‘What one can accomplish, if there is a will’…. This might sound like an inspirational quote but if you had chance to experience what I did… I am sure you would have felt the same.

Last two days I was on tour of the interior or as called in government terms ‘backward’ regions as part of my last assignment with my current firm.  The days prior to it seemed difficult for lot of reasons and anticipation of visit to the Nanded – a small town, read district HQ, on border of Maharashtra, precisely known as Marathwada.

Wisdom of Day!!!

Economics & Entertainment - A Cricket Perspective

Few minutes from now, there begins the biggest and most prestigious tournament in the world of cricket and just like billion of other Indians, I too am looking forward to same with a wish that India wins it…  But it’s too early (unlike news channels) to say who will perform best on that day :-)

Excellent Food @ Wadeshwar, Pune

With counting last days at KPMG, I am also travelling a lot... thanks to e-gov project I am upto nowday...

Today I had been to this wonderful place on FC Road, Pune called Wadeshwar, a very good restaurant or should i say an hang out place.  I had as usual asked for the special items to my host and we ended up taking Kothmirwada and Thalipeth.... Yepppp!!!! specailly the Thalipeth...

In evening, I again visited the same place in the evening and had some P**** Dosa. Again the words were awesome. This dosa were made of the moong daal and they tested great specially the core part of it, probably had a garnising of onion and cucumber.  Probably was lucky to stay @ FC road and had chance to visit Wadeshwar... i recommend everyone to check this joint wherever they are at pune :-)

'Why Me?' - a Thought that explains Life!

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.  From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease?"


To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over 5 crore children start playing tennis, 50 lakh learn to play tennis, 5 lakh learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the lawns, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon and 2 to the finals. So when I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?" and today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"

A fellow had just been hired as the new CEO of a large high tech corporation. The CEO who was stepping down met with him privately and presented him with three numbered envelopes. "Open one of these if you run up against a problem you don't think you can solve," he said.
